Asian Green Mussel

The much-loved Green Mussel or 'Xinaneao' from Goa! On my daily walks at Bambolim Beach, I used to find glossy, sea-soaked shells in the most gorgeous shades of green, and would spend hours admiring them. They tend to have a lovely brown-green gradient, the colour slowly changing along the fine lines of the growth rings. It's been such a delight, recreating this little marvel with a paintbrush!
